Don’t Be A But serves to help new drivers avoid the pitfalls and potholes that could lead them into committing insurance fraud. Often, young drivers are unaware that driving without insurance, or that having a policy and exaggerating a claim are crimes with consequences. Scare tactics aren’t our thing. Don’t Be A But presents the facts and the consequences surrounding auto insurance fraud, in order to help young vehicle owners make the right decisions.
The IFPA was legislatively created in 1995 to provide law enforcement with the resources and tools needed to investigate and prosecute reported IF, and help educate people about the harms of IF.
More about the IFPA, law enforcement’s IF units, and IF can be seen at http://www.HelpStopFraud.Org.
